The Electric Maggots are a new big game teaser designed for maximum surface and sub-surface action and for use with conventional big game tackle and big game fly with of course the emphasis on big game species like billfish and tuna or any large predators.

The Electric Maggots were conceived as a direct alternative to the daisy chain where the use of rubber and plastic birds were simply too prone to bills and bites or complete loss, you can be sure the Electric Maggots are built tough to take the bills and bites over a long period of time due their excellent construction.

The Electric Maggots really come into their own when used on electric teaser reels through the riggers, These big game teasers are designed to be run at any distance from the boat with a lure running in an arc at approximately 2m from the black lure on the rear or alternatively they can be run on their own in the slack water between the lures in the spread in order to maximize water turbulence in that area.

The Electric Maggots also floats at rest in order to minimize any propellor entangelment.
 
This big game teaser has had outstanding results worldwide over many years in bringing big game fish into the lure spread.

The Electric Maggots feature a series of holes and ridges that when towed the water enters the large holes in the concave face then exits the small holes in the sides, this effect produces maximum surface action above the waterline and a sound pulse sub-surface giving different wavelength patterns to attract predators.

The Electric Maggots are designed to be towed at speeds from 4 knots upwards are 1.5m in length are made from high impact resins with 316 grade stainless steel centre tubes and 49 strand wire throughout.

The Electric Maggots are available in the colours shown and come with a 13.5"/350mm floating bishop lure in black only.
